At Play Sense, we believe that every child deserves an early learning experience that is not only meaningful and fun but also rooted in their natural inclination to play. Our unique approach is designed to provide children with the best possible start to their educational journey, while also rewarding our passionate teachers for their dedication to nurturing capable, cared for, and confident learners.

Small Groups for Individual Attention

The toddler years are a crucial time for developing key learning foundations such as self-regulation and collaboration. We understand that personal attention is paramount in nurturing these core capacities. That’s why our playgroups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six children per group. In this intimate setting, our exceptional teachers are able to truly connect with each child, understanding their unique needs and supporting their individual development.

A Home Away from Home

We believe that expensive infrastructure doesn’t add value to a child’s learning outcomes, especially at this early stage. Instead, we’ve found that the best learning environment for young children is one that mimics the warmth and comfort of a home. That’s why our Play Sense groups are hosted in actual homes. Whether it’s a dedicated space within a teacher’s home or a volunteer family’s space, these settings provide a nurturing and familiar backdrop for little ones to open their minds to play and learning.

Learning Lifelong Skills Through Play

Research affirms that play, particularly imaginary play, is the optimal way for young children to learn. For children between the ages of 2 and 5, sitting at a desk to learn reading and writing isn’t developmentally appropriate. Instead, they should be free to explore, imagine, and engage in hands-on activities that stimulate their creativity and curiosity.

At Play Sense, we’ve developed a play-based curriculum that combines six different types of play. These carefully designed themes and lessons feature practical, age-appropriate activities that impart the life and school readiness skills children need to master. And the best part? It’s all achieved through play.

The key learning foundations of self-regulation and collaboration are best developed in the toddler years. The only way there core-capacities are nurtured is through personal attention. Thats why children learn best and have the best outcomes in small groups.

At Play Sense Play Schools, we’re committed to providing a unique learning experience that values the power of play. By keeping our groups small for personalized attention, offering a home-like environment, and fostering lifelong skills through purposeful play, we’re setting the stage for a meaningful educational journey for every child. Join us in creating a world where learning is not only enriching but also joyous and memorable.
