My play group is situated in my home, making children feel at ease in a familiar environment. A home away from home. I have a spacious classroom where children can relax, play and learn as well as a large garden with two gungle gyms, a trampoline, sandbox and lots of lawn for them to run and move their bodies. We also have a mud kitchen outside to explore nature and get messy. During our school day we also ride bikes, kick balls and explore outside.
My home is situated in a quiet street in a safe and secure boomed area, close to Struben Dam. We often see ducks and bunnies in the field down the road. It is a quiet, safe environment where children can play and grow.

I am a wife and a mommy to two beautiful children. I first started working with children in 2007 and that led me to becoming a teacher. I have a B.Ed degree in Early Childhood education with my speciality focusing on special needs education. I taught at a Primary school for over 10 years, working with children between the ages of 5 and 12 before opening my own playschool 4 years ago. I have always been drawn to children and thrive on the joy they bring to a room. I find it amazing how they perceive the world around them and I love exploring this world with them through Play. I am a very gentle and kind hearted teacher and I see each child as an individual with unique qualities and needs.
